Aside from my day-to-day duties of Venture Partner at Mount Parker Ventures (a position that I announced here), I took on the role resident web and graphic designer as well. That wasn’t at all surprising given that I’ve always assumed that role every where I worked, regardless of what my official title was. It goes without saying that having a bit of design skill did help me quite a bit over the years. As soon as I joined Mount Parker, I knew we needed a new website, particularly since we were looking to expand. So a strong brand identity was crucial and the website was a great place to start. I came up with the content architecture, the new visual design  and a new colour scheme. It wasn’t entirely foreign to me as I’ve created a handful of websites for venture capital firms in the past. Below are some of the screens of the design. You can also visit the live site here: mountparker.com.
